Kasbah des Oudaias
The Kasbah des Oudaias, an ancient citadel overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, is renowned for its picturesque blue and white painted alleyways, reflecting a strong Andalusian influence. Hassan Tower
The Hassan Tower is the unfinished minaret of a colossal 12th-century mosque, built during the reign of Al-Mansour. Opposite it stands the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a masterpiece of modern Moroccan architecture. Guarded by the royal cavalry, this site is the political and symbolic heart of Rabat, testifying to the grandeur of Moroccan dynasties.
Chellah Necropolis
The Chellah Necropolis is a unique archaeological site that layers the remains of the ancient Roman city, Sala Colonia, with a 14th-century Merinid necropolis. Surrounded by ramparts, the ruins now serve as a peaceful natural sanctuary for storks, offering a mystical setting where history meets wildlife.
